Join us at Data Strategy and help us drive growth of P&C Solutions revenue while minimizing the potential risks Swiss Re will expose to. We are flexible on the location of the right candidate.

About the Role

As a Risk Data Assessment Specialist - P&C within P&C Solutions, you will use your strong technical skillsets, attend to detail and eye for business to support the research, evaluation, licensing and/or partner of new datasets to enable or enhance solutions for primary insurance and reinsurance purposes.

About the Team

We are a small team with broad range of knowledge and expertise in areas such as geospatial data and analytics, risk engineering, third party data, product development and contract negotiations. The team provides critical roles helping the organization drive revenue growth of our solutions and in supporting the establishment and implementation of internal data strategies.

About You

We are looking for an execution-oriented team-player who can think creatively, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and deliver in ambiguous situations.

Essentials:

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Experience in creating and monitoring processes that drive operational efficiencies, ensuring quality levels and seeking continuous improvement.
• Comprehensive understanding of key attributes that can impact the risk related to property and casualty insurance, and solid understanding of and experience in construction materials and practices.
• Experience in third party data research, evaluation, quality review and data analysis using excel, SQL or other tools.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to Have:

• Strong property loss prevention background (> 5 years at a reputable property risk engineering or risk survey provider) through on-site and virtual surveys for multiple lines of businesses.
• Experience in data agreement review and agreement negotiation.
• Experience in SharePoint page and workflow creation.
• Fluent in a secondary language such as Chinese, French, German, or Japanese, etc.
